With Andrew Buchanan
"Andrew’s improv workshops and insights are a fantastic way of igniting both joy and technique for young artists.”
Sue Pearn (Drama Teacher All Hallow's School)
"Andrew Buchanan is a gifted and generous teacher with a genuine love for improvisation and drama. I can’t think of someone better at making improvisation accessible to young people and helping them derive the benefits of the art form."
Roger Beams (Director, Queensland Youth Theatresports)

TheatreSports™ is improvised theatre entertainment played as a spectator sport. Teams of players invent scenes from suggestions they are given, while following particular sets of rules across a wide variety of games. Everything is made up on the spot. Teams are judged on their ability to follow the rules of each game, deliver a cohesive story line and entertain the audience.
TheatreSports™ consists of 90 games across 1 min, 2 min, 3 min and 4 minute catagories. It challenges participants to tackle a variety of different theatrical styles - opera, comedy, drama, dance, mime and poetry can appear all in the one show. It is fast paced, unpredictable, and hilarious. Best of all - it’s great fun.
Andrew has coached TheatreSports in Queensland schools for 35 years.
He coached All Hallow’s School and St Aidan's Anglican Girls' School to multiple Queensland State Titles over the past 10 years.
